Monads Are Coming: Why MVP, Speed, and User Feedback Define the Next Era of Web3

Monads Are Coming: Why MVP, Speed, and User Feedback Define the Next Era of Web3

The Real MVP Isn’t Fancy—It’s Functional

At Foundry NYC 2.2, I heard it again: no one cares about your whitepaper. They care about what you shipped last week. Patrick Hizon of Mu Digital put it bluntly: ‘Don’t ask what your six-month roadmap is—ask what you built yesterday.’ That’s the heartbeat of Web3 now.

Velocity Is the New Moat

Speed isn’t optional—it’s structural. When LootGO’s Yuki said, ‘Build a skateboard first,’ he wasn’t being poetic—he was describing survival. Teams that iterated within hours after feedback outperformed those who waited for perfection. In crypto, delay is death.

Breaking Out of the Crypto Bubble

Monad isn’t building an L1 chain—it’s building infrastructure for millions. The shift from ‘crypto natives’ to ‘global users’ isn’t marketing—it’s necessity. As @0x_eunice reminded us: ‘Monad to Millions’ means redefining access, not just scaling throughput.

Truth Over Hype—The Feedback Loop

Karma Gora said something chilling: founders lie to themselves; users lie about liking products; VCs lie about why they invest. The only antidote? Constant feedback loops rooted in real behavior—not metrics on dashboards.

The Foundry Effect: A Culture of Radical Honesty

This wasn’t a pitch session. It was a crucible. Conversations didn’t end with applause—they ended with challenges that forced you to question assumptions you’d held for years. At one table, I watched an EVM dev tear down their entire architecture in two hours because a user said their wallet UI felt broken.

Five Teams Won Because They Solved Real Problems

Of 44 projects? Only five passed路演—not because they had funding, but because they shipped something usable within days and listened when users screamed back.

The next era isn’t coming—it’s already running on Testnet-2 with 161 nodes across 33 countries. We’re not waiting for adoption—we’re building it.

They don’t care about your whitepaper—they care if you shipped something usable before your coffee got cold. Speed isn’t optional—it’s your last chance before the next DAO collapses. I watched an EVM dev cry into their wallet UI after three hours… then realized it was just a skateboard with ‘Monads’ printed on it. If your roadmap’s longer than your morning commute—you’re not building Web3. You’re just delaying death.

P.S. Anyone else feel like their token is a meme? Drop a comment—or I’ll restart my L1 chain.
